Disclaimer for Computer World Loyalty Card Program

1)Program Participation and Modification

By participating in the Computer World Loyalty Card Program ("Program"), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). We reserve the right to modify, amend, or terminate the Program, these Terms, or any part thereof at any time, without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.

2) Lost or Stolen Cards

Computer World is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Loyalty Cards. If your Loyalty Card is lost or stolen, any points earned on that card will be forfeited, and a new card will be issued without any accumulated points. It is your responsibility to safeguard your Loyalty Card to prevent unauthorized use.

3) Redeeming Points

Points earned through the Program may be redeemed for Computer World products only, subject to availability and any applicable restrictions. Points have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred to other Loyalty Card accounts, or used for tax, shipping, or handling charges.

4) Redemption Policies for Organizations and Government Departments

Organizations, businesses, and government departments are eligible to participate in the Program, but they must establish and enforce their own policies regarding the accumulation and redemption of points by their employees, representatives, or members. Computer World is not responsible for any disputes, claims, or liabilities arising from an organization's or government department's use of the Program.

5) Expiration of Points

Points earned on your Loyalty Card will expire after a period of 12 months from the date of the last transaction. We reserve the right to change the expiration period without prior notice. You will not receive any compensation for expired or forfeited points.

6) Personal Information and Privacy

By participating in the Program, you agree that Computer World may collect, store, and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy on our website for more information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

7) Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Computer World, its affiliates, or their respective officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your participation in the Program or your use of any benefits, products, obtained through the Program.

8) Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vanuatuin which your participating Computer World is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Your use of the Loyalty Card and participation in the Program constitutes your agreement to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not participate in the Program or use the Loyalty Card.

 

Terms and Conditions for Computer World

 

1)Acceptance of Terms

By availing of our services, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, please refrain from using our services. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

2)Services and Repairs

Computer World offers services and repairs for computers and appliances, including but not limited to diagnostics, software and hardware repair, and replacement of parts. We do not guarantee that the repair will be successful or that the issue will not reoccur.

3) Warranty

All repairs and services come with a limited warranty of 30 days from the date of service completion, unless otherwise specified in writing. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and replacement parts but does not extend to any pre-existing issues or damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accidents.

4)Liability

Computer World shall not be held liable for any data loss or corruption, software or hardware failures, or any damages resulting from services performed. It is the Customer's responsibility to back up any important data before submitting their device for service or repair. We do not take responsibility for any loss of data during the repair process.

5)No Replacement Products

We do not offer any replacement products or loaner devices during the time of repair. The Customer is responsible for making alternative arrangements for their computing or appliance needs during this period.

6) Estimates and Payments

Upon assessing the issue, our technicians will provide a written estimate of the total cost for the repair or service. This estimate is subject to change if additional issues are discovered during the service process. Any changes in the estimated cost will be communicated to the Customer for approval before proceeding.

Full payment is due upon completion of the service or repair. We accept cash, credit cards, and other approved payment methods. Devices not picked up within 30 days of service completion may be considered abandoned and may be disposed of at our discretion.

7) Working Hours

Computer World does not guarantee that repairs or services will be completed within a specific timeframe. We will make every effort to complete the work as quickly as possible, but cannot be held responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances or high demand.

8) Third-Party Products

We may use third-party products, including replacement parts and software, to complete repairs and services. We cannot guarantee the performance, quality, or compatibility of these third-party products and are not responsible for any issues or damage resulting from their use.

9) Customer Responsibilities

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information about the issue they are experiencing, as well as the make, model, and serial number of the device being serviced. The Customer is also responsible for maintaining possession of any accessories or peripherals, as Computer World is not liable for any loss or damage to these items.

10) Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Port Vila,  Vanuatu Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Port Vila, Vanuatu.

11) Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be in full force and effect.

12) Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Computer World and the Customer regarding our services and repairs, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, proposals, or communications, whether written or oral.

By using our services, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
